He/she will report any observed change in resident's physical, cognitive, or emotional status to the Community Nurse or Health ServicesDirector. Appropriate vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature and weight) will be taken. Med aides will interface with the pharmacy, the physician, and the family as needed, and will re-order/re-stock medication. Documentation skills will be essential for incidents, errors or accidents. He/she will respond to and act appropriately in any emergency or disaster situations. |
