It is Hearthstone's goal to support a resident's choice to remain in his or her living environment to the end of their lives. Financial Questions

Are there buy-in fees or long-term leases at the Hearthstone Communities?
Absolutely not. Private apartments are rented on a simple month-to-month basis.
What about Medicaid?
We are a private pay community and do not accept Medicaid. If a resident becomes eligible for Medicaid, Hearthstone will assist the resident and family in making the contact necessary to apply for Medicaid and, if needed, will refer the families to a placement service that can assist them in relocating. Should you anticipate that you will need Medicaid in two years or less, you should consider a Medicaid community now as the number of communities that accept Medicaid are limited.
